Once produced by the Habana Cuba Cigar Company, the Oliveros name eventually found new life when respected cigar maker Rafael Nodal acquired the brand in the early 2000s. After years of quiet, Nodal brought Oliveros back to the spotlight with the introduction of Oliveros Gran Retorno, crafted in Nicaragua in partnership with the renowned Plasencia family.

True to its name, which translates to “great return,” this line emphasizes patience and refinement. The tobaccos used in Gran Retorno undergo an extensive maturation process that can stretch to as long as 33 months, allowing the blends to develop exceptional balance, aroma, and depth before reaching smokers.
